A great way to get going in a positive direction is to get into an activity. Get up and get out of the house. Develop a hobby. Listening to music is a great mental outlet.
Travel around the world by listening to the great musical artist of the world, even to another place in time. Go by way of the Philharmonic Orchestras. Philharmonic means,” Music Lover”. This is a description of the Philharmonic Orchestras of the world. They are a group of people who have brought the love of music to the world.
When the men and women of the Philharmonic are playing they are one with their instruments. You listen but you do not hear any separation. The dedication is clear. The world and all of its sounds move in unison. When the world is out of balance it storms. When the seasons change there is turmoil in the music of nature. The men and women of the Philharmonics have the ability to help us hear the music of the universe.
A piano plays and you can hear crystals of ice breaking, a French horn and you can hear the English hunt, or the violin and you can hear and feel the tears of a breaking heart. The Philharmonic gives us the temperature of our world. Sometimes things go so fast we can barely listen, but when we stop; like a deep pause in the music and we wait, we hear the kettle drum and we know serious change is coming or the horns and can imagine the galloping of the horses.
The world loves the Philharmonics only some don’t realize it. It is the music of a cartoon or the score to a famous movie. The Philharmonics is very much a part of our lives. Rich or poor the dedication of these music lovers has always been there woven into the fabric of our world.
The men and women of the Philharmonics are dedicated to the art of making music. They bring to our attention the everyday sounds of our universe, which is music in itself. We go about our crowded lives not always being able to focus on the beauty that surrounds us. But when we listen to someone play a musical instrument we are reminded that there is more to the universe than we can see with the naked eye. We feel a group of emotions that can only be touched and brought to the surface with music.
The music holds a conversation that is its’ own. It explains, it demands, it recoils, it runs away. It concludes: it can be soothing or shocking. As in life it can be unpredictable. Music is an essential part of our well being. It relaxes us, elates us, even depresses us, but most importantly it reminds us that we are alive.
